As you may know, I have recently completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training!! I love yoga and what it can do for the body and the mind. One of my favourite things about yoga is it forces you to be mindful of your body and how the body feels.
As a knitter, smartphone user, and desk worker, I often do not pay attention to the signs my body is giving me to take a break. There are many ways to use yoga and stretching in your day to day life to keep your body healthy and happy, so you can continue to do the other things you love.
In this series of posts, I am going to highlight some great yoga asana (poses) that will provide relief to the hands, wrists, shoulders, arms and neck, which can sometimes be strained from being hunched over our projects.
Do you remember to take a break from your knitting? What sort of stretches work for you?
Stay tuned for some of my favourite stretches and yoga poses to help alleviate knitting pain!
